1. Load Videos: Paste any YouTube URL into the input boxes and click 'Load'. Use 'Reload' for a new random video.
2. Create a Beat: Click the squares to program patterns for the drums or your samples.
3. Program Jumps & Patterns: Use the yellow "Pattern" knob to switch between 8 independent patterns for each JUMP track. The large knobs below each step set the coarse jump point (0-9) for the selected pattern.
4. Fine-Tune with Nudge: Use the small, blue "Nudge" knob in the track header to finely adjust the start point for that video by +/- 9.9%.
5. Greg Mode: Use the "Greg Mode" switch to change the Nudge behavior. When OFF (default), Nudge is global. When ON, Nudge settings are saved individually for each of the 8 patterns.
6. Jamie Mode (Sampler): Activate "Jamie Mode" to switch from the drum machine to an 8-track sampler. Use the 'Upload' button on each track to load your own .wav or .mp3 files.
7. NEW! Marty Mode: Activate "Marty Mode" to show the Trigger Condition buttons for all tracks (Jump, Drum, and Sampler).
8. Sampler Shaping: In Jamie Mode, each sampler track has global Attack and Decay knobs. It also has a full effects section with on/off switches for a Wasp-inspired Filter, a Reverb, and a Ping Pong Delay.
9. Trigger Conditions: (Requires Marty Mode) Use the small button below each step to set logical conditions. `1:4` means the step will only play on the 1st bar of a 4-bar loop. Click to cycle or click-and-drag to change values.
10. Mix Your Sound: Use the small red volume knobs to adjust the volume for each individual part.
11. WARNING: The filter's resonance can self-oscillate at high settings, creating very loud sounds. Please be careful with your volume levels!
12. Play: Press the PLAY button or hit the SPACEBAR to start.
13. Keyboard Shortcuts: Use the Arrow Keys to switch patterns on the JUMP tracks (Left/Right for Player 1, Up/Down for Player 2).
14. Save/Load Session: Use the SAVE button to download a self-contained `.zip` file with your session and samples. Use the LOAD button to select that file to restore your work, including all audio.
